Brought to you by the City of Annapolis Arts in Public Places Commission, the newest art exhibit, "Engaging Our Environment" wildlife photography by John Henry Turner, opens at the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center on Wednesday, December 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. Born and raised in Annapolis, John Henry "Jack" Turner, son of classically trained portraitist, Moe Hanson, has an acquired an eye for composition, light and color, which is evident in his work. He is a steward for the environment and fosters a connection with nature as he travels the Chesapeake Bay searching for eagles, foxes, shorebirds and more. His powerful images create an intimate connection with nature. The exhibit will be up through March 30, 2019.
