NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
INVITATION TO BID - IFB 23-08
REPLACEMENT TIMBER BULKHEAD, FLOATING DINGY DOCK
The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed bids for
construction services until 2:00 p.m., local time, February 9, 2023. Bids will be announced via
virtually following the deadline. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check, payable to the City of
Annapolis, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must
provide Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the
total bid price.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to; construction of a replacement timber
bulkhead, and installation of a floating dinghy dock, bollards, box drain, pipe and related
incidental site work.
Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid conference at 2 PM, local time,
Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester
Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. A site visit of the construction site will be held immediately
following the pre-bid meeting.
The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and
to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
