(Annapolis, MD) November 22, 2019 at 11:43 am, the Annapolis Fire Department was dispatched to the 200 block of Gross avenue for a reported structure fire. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a single-family home with heavy smoke and fire on the second floor. All occupants in the home safely evacuated prior to arrival of the fire department. Fire crews made a quick attack bringing it under control within 30 minutes. There was extensive damage to the home with some fire damage to a neighboring home. Three adults have been displaced and are being assisted by red cross. There were no injuries to civilians or fire personnel. The cause and origin of the fire is currently under investigation and the financial loss currently is unknown. The Annapolis Fire Department was assisted by Anne Arundel, Naval Fire District Washington, and Prince Georges County Fire Departments.
