October 8 – La Cultura Cura – Tyler Heights Elementary
In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 336 calls for service and arrested 13 people.
Burglary – 201900004529 – 600-699 Americana Dr – 09/07 to 09/11: Furniture was stolen from an apartment. There were no signs of forced entry to the apartment.
Shots Fired – 201900004545 – Obery Ct at Abney La – 09/15 at 1:38am: Officers responded to the area for reports of shots fired, but did not locate any suspects or victims. The rear window of a parked, unoccupied vehicle was struck as well as railings in front of three homes in the 100 block of Obery Ct.
Shots Fired – 201900004558 – 1400-1499 Tyler Av – 09/15 at 7:55pm: Officers responded to the area for reports of shots fired, but did not locate any suspects or victims.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201900004562 – 1200-1299 Youngs Farm Rd – 09/15 from 7pm to 9pm: An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen.
La Cultura Cura
Tyler Heights Elementary, located at 200 Janwall St, is hosting an event on 10/08 at 6:30pm. This event is open to the public and will be held in English and Spanish. Mario Ozuna-Sanchez will focus on culture and family and present recommendations on how to better connect with your children and strengthen the family. Annapolis Police Department's Latino Liaison, Joe Hudson, will answer questions about services and issues in the community.
