September 1 – Pre-Labor Day Parade – West Street
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 127 calls for service and arrested 9 people.
Burglary-201900004230-200-299 Windell Ave- On 8/28/19 at approx 1:30am an unknown person entered an unlocked shed and removed two dirt bikes from inside. The dirt bikes were recovered a short distance away from where they were taken.
Theft-201900004233-1200-1299 West St- On 8/21/19 at approx 4:30am unknown subjects entered the unsecured lot of a business and removed a vehicle engine being stored on the lot.
Theft from Vehicle-201900004236-200-299 Hilltop Ln- Sometime between 8/27/19 at 9pm and 8/28/19 at 8:30am an unknown person entered an unsecured vehicle and removed property from inside.
No Citizen Fingerprinting
No citizen fingerprinting will be offered on 09/02. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, 09/09, at 6:30pm.
Pre-Labor Day Parade and City Offices Closed
There will be road closures on Sunday, 09/01, due to the Annual Pre-Labor Day Elks Parade. Road closures are scheduled between 3pm and 5pm from West St at Amos Garrett Blvd to Calvert St. The First Sunday Arts Festival is also being held on 09/01 from 11am to 5pm. West St will be closed between Calvert St and Church Circle during the event. City of Annapolis offices will be closed on Monday, 09/02, in observance of Labor Day.
