In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 326 calls for service and arrested 14 people.

Theft from Vehicle-201900003545-1300-1399 Forest Drive-On 7/20/19 between 2am and 2:18am an unknown person removed property from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

Robbery-201900003549-Market Sp and Fleet St- On 7/20/19 around 2am the victim was walking when he was approached by the suspect who assaulted the victim. The suspect removed property from the victim’s person and fled the area. The victim delayed reporting this incident. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Theft-201900003551-100-199 Duke of Gloucester St- On 7/20/19 between 5pm and 6pm property was removed from a purse that was left unattended.

Armed Robbery-201900003560 - at 1-99 W.Washington Street- On 7/21/19 at approx 4:15am the victim was on foot when they were approached by multiple subjects. One suspect brandished a handgun and the suspects began assaulting the victim. The suspects removed property from the victim’s person and fled the area. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Theft-201900003566-100-199 Rosecrest Dr- On 7/21/19 at approx 8pm a green and white bicycle was stolen from a yard.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
