In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 118 calls for service and arrested 5 people.      
Critically Missing Adult – 201900003457 – 1900-1999 Vincent St – 07/14: A concerned person reported that she hasn’t seen Richard O’Connor since 07/10. Richard O’Connor is a 63 year old Caucasian male, balding, with white and grey hair and blue eyes. There are factors which make Richard O’Connor a critically missing person. If you have any information about his whereabouts please contact Annapolis police detectives at 410-260-3439.
Theft of Bicycle – 201900003500 – 100-199 Spa View Av – 07/17 from 8am to 9am: A blue bicycle was stolen from the rear of a home.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900003501 – 00-99 Steele Av – 07/16 at 9pm to 07/17 at 9am: A JBL Flip 4 Bluetooth speaker was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900003503 – 100-199 Lafayette Av – 07/16 at 6:30pm to 07/17 at 9:30am: Money and a hat were stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Burglary – 201900003504 – 100-199 Monticello Av – 07/16 at 10:30pm to 07/17 at 6:30am: A grey Giant Cypress bicycle was stolen from a detached garage apparently left with the door open. The bicycle was located abandoned on Smith Av near Spa View Av. It will be returned to its owner.
Burglary – 201900003506 – 1100-1199 Smithville St – 07/01 to 07/17: Jewelry was stolen from an apartment. There were no signs of forced entry to the apartment.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at
