Annapolis Police Department Honor Guard

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 327 calls for service and arrested 9 people.      
 
Theft from Auto-201900003086-900-999 Boucher Ave- Sometime between 6/20/19 at 4pm and 6/21/19 at 8am unknown person removed property from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
 
Assault-201900003092-1-99 Heritage Ct-On 6/22/19 at approx 11:29pm the victim was about to get into his vehicle after making a food delivery when he was approached by the suspect who was pointing a handgun at the victim. The suspect was startled by something and fled. The suspect did not take anything from the victim and the victim was not injured. The suspect was not located by responding officers.
 
Missing Juveniles-201900003097-1-99 Bens Dr-Charles Richardson and Damani Richardson, both age 17 of Annapolis, were last seen on 6/22/19 at approx 11am. Charles was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, grey or blue shorts, and white Air Force sneakers. Damani was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, unknown color sweatpants, and white shoes. While both are believed to be voluntarily missing, there are critical factors that make us concerned for their welfare. If you see the juveniles please contact 410-268-4141.
 
Theft-201900003103-1-99 Georgetown Court-Sometime between 4:53pm and 5:30pm on 6/22/19 a package that was delivered was stolen.
 
Theft-201900003105- 1300-1399 Forest Drive-Sometime between 8pm and 8:30pm on 6/22/19 a cell phone was stolen after it was left unattended on a counter in a business.
 
Burglary-201900003106-1-99 Bens Drive-Sometime between 6/4/19 and 6/22/19 an unknown person entered a residence and removed property. There were no signs of forced entry.
 
Robbery-201900003110-1400-1499 Tyler Ave-On 6/22/19 just before midnight, the victim was on foot when he was approached by the suspect who punched the victim in the face. The suspect removed property from the victim’s person and fled. The victim delayed reporting this incident for an unknown reason and the suspect was not located.
 
Theft from vehicle-201900003113-1-99 Hudson St-Victim reported that sometime on 6/22/19 property was removed from his vehicle. On 6/23/19 a credit card stolen from the vehicle was used at a local business. The suspect using the credit card was identified as Clarence Blake, age 59 of Annapolis. Blake was located and arrested.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
