In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 367 calls for service and arrested 7 people.      
Theft from Vehicle – 201900002814 – 300-399 State St – 06/06 at 9:30pm to 06/07 at 8:30am: Money was stolen from a vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900002819 – 1000-1099 Norman Dr – 06/05 at 6pm to 06/07 at 6am: Money and a wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900002820 – 00-99 South Acton Pl – 06/06 at 2:30pm to 06/07 at 11:20am: A pair of diamond earrings were stolen from a vehicle.
Homicide – 201900002829 – Forest Dr at South Cherry Grove Av – 06/07 at 9:19pm: Officers responded to the area for reports of shots fired and located a single vehicle collision. One adult male occupant of the vehicle was struck by gunfire and died from his injuries. The victim is Edward Seay, 32, of Chester. This is an active and fluid investigation and we urge anyone with information to contact our detectives at 410-260-3439. Theft from Vehicle – 201900002837 – 900-999 West St – 06/07 from 4pm to 4:30pm: A pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Burglary – 201900002846 – 1300-1399 Tyler Av – 06/08 from 12:15pm to 10:30pm: The home was entered through a window and a box of candy was stolen.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900002858 – 00-99 Muir Woods Ct – 06/08 at 11pm to 06/09 at 9am: Money and a credit card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 06/11, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at
