Annapolis Police Department Honor Guard

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 263 calls for service and arrested 7 people.      
Burglary – 201900002267 – 1000-1099 Madison St – 05/09 at 9:30am to 05/10 at 7am: A locked shed was forced open and white Honda dirt bike with a red seat and an ATV were stolen. Officers located the ATV on Brashears St, but the dirt bike was not located.
Burglary – 201900002268 – 00-99 Pump House Rd – 05/09 at 1pm to 05/10 at 8:25am: A locked shed was forced open, but nothing was stolen from inside.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201900002272 – 00-99 Melrob Ct – 05/09 at 11pm to 05/10 at 12pm: A vehicle with a faulty door lock was entered, but nothing was stolen.
Thefts from Vehicles – 201900002273 – 1900-1999 West St – 05/10 from 12:45pm to 1:10pm: Two unlocked vehicles were entered and a cell phone, money, vape pen batteries, a Leatherman multi-tool, diapers, and two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen.
Burglary – 201900002282 – 900-999 Bay Ridge Rd – 05/10 from 11:45pm to 11:59pm: A locked shed was forced open and a power washer was stolen.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201900002300 – 900-999 Breakwater Dr – 05/11 at 6:30pm to 05/12 at 5pm: A vehicle was entered but nothing was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.
Stolen Bicycle – 201900002302 – 600-699 Americana Dr – 05/09 at 2:30am to 05/10 at 8am: A burnt orange Firmstrong beach cruiser style bicycle with a tan wicker basket on the handle bars and silver fold down pegs on the rear axle was stolen from a patio.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at
