In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 120 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft of Package – 201900001665 – 00-99 Primrose Hill La – 04/02: A package was stolen from the front porch of a home after it was delivered.
Attempted Armed Robbery – 201900001671 – 900-999 Spa Rd – 04/04 between 6pm and 7pm: At 8:50pm officers were contacted about a crime that occurred earlier. The adult male victim reported that he was with three friends at the Weems Whalen Field when they were approached by three male suspects wearing face masks. The suspects assaulted the group and threatened the victim with a knife, demanding a cell phone. The victim refused to hand over the phone and the suspects fled the area, leaving in a small dark colored sedan. The victim suffered cuts and bruises from the assault.

Citizen Police Academy
The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to educate residents about their local police department. The Academy will start Monday, April 15 and meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 3, 10, 17 and 24 at Annapolis Police Department, 199 Taylor Avenue. Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 04/23, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome.
