In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 270 calls for service and arrested 15 people.    
Theft from Vehicle – 201900000620 – 100-199 Quiet Waters Pl – 02/01 at 8pm to 02/02 at 8:30am: An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Attempted Thefts from Vehicles – 201900000622 – 900-999 Langdon Ct – 02/02 at 3:40am: An area surveillance camera captured an unknown suspect attempting to open the doors to two vehicles. Because the vehicles were locked, nothing was stolen and the suspect left the area on a bicycle.
Armed Robbery – 201900000629 – 1900-1999 Forest Dr – 02/03 at 1:30am: Two adult male suspects wearing masks entered the business and approached an employee. One of the suspects was carrying a handgun and struck the employee in the head with the handgun, knocking him to the ground. Almost simultaneously with the strike, one bullet was fired into the ceiling of the business. While the employee was on the ground the suspects took his wallet and then fled the area. The employee was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Attempted Robbery – 201900000630 – 00-99 Hicks Av – 02/03 at 12:30am: At 2:30am an adult male victim reported an attempted robbery that occurred earlier. The victim reported that he was standing outside when he was approached by three suspects. The suspects assaulted him and demanded money. The victim did not have anything of value and the three suspects fled without stealing anything. The victim had minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 02/12, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Homes at the Glen, Riders Glen, Woodside Gardens, Newtowne 20, Village Greens, and Berkshire Annapolis residents, Newtowne neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend the Newtowne Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 02/19, at 6:30pm at the American Legion, 1707 Forest Dr. Everyone is welcome.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at
