January 23 – Neighborhood Safety Meeting – 199 Taylor Av
In the last 96 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 371 calls for service and arrested 19 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900000377 – 1100-1199 Boucher Av – 01/15 at 7:30pm to 01/16 at 7:50am: Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201900000385 – 1900-1999 Lincoln Dr – 01/20 at 12:38am: An observant caller reported seeing a male suspect standing next to the open door of an unlocked vehicle. The suspect fled on a bicycle when he realized he’d been seen. Officers checked the area, but did not locate him.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, 01/23, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Captain Aaron Edwards from the Annapolis Fire Department will give a short presentation on the new Your Life Matters Project. The focus of this new project is training community members how to save lives by recognizing an overdose and learning how to administer Narcan and perform hands only CPR. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis.
