In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 105 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201900000140 – 700-799 Bay Ridge Av – 01/07 at 7pm to 01/08 at 9:15am: A black backpack containing an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Theft of Package – 201900000143 – 00-99 Maryland Av – 01/07 at 1105am: A piece of registered mail was stolen when it was delivered to an apartment building.
Thefts of Packages – 201900000152 – 600-699 Americana Dr – 09/16/18, 12/23/18 and 01/02/19: Packages delivered to the hallway of the apartment building were stolen.
Stolen Vehicle – 201900000159 – 00-99 Harness Creek View Ct – 01/08 at 9pm to 01/09 at 5:22am: A grey 2013 Honda Accord, MD reg. 6AZ8253, was stolen when it was left unlocked with the key inside. The vehicle has a blue Fleet Reserve sticker on the rear window.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 01/15, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, 01/23, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Captain Aaron Edwards from the Annapolis Fire Department will give a short presentation on the new Your Life Matters Project. The focus of this new project is training community members how to save lives by recognizing an overdose and learning how to administer Narcan and perform hands only CPR. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis.
