November 27 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St

In the last 48 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 234 calls for service and arrested 9 people.

Armed Robbery – 201800005016 – 1100-1199 Bay Ridge Av – 11/20 at 6:30pm: On 11/21 an adult male victim reported that he was robbed the night before. The victim reported he was walking in the area when an adult female suspect hit him in the face with a metal pole. The victim fell to the ground. The suspect grabbed the victim’s backpack and fled the area. The victim was treated at an area hospital for his injuries to his face.

Robbery – 201800005023 – 00-99 West St – 11/19 at 11:30pm: On 11/21 an adult female victim reported the she was robbed on the 19^th. The victim reported she was walking in the area when she was approached by an adult female suspect who asked the victim to buy her meal at a business on Main St. When the victim offered to buy her some food from a closer business the suspect told the victim to go to a nearby ATM or the suspect would hurt her. The suspect and victim walked to the ATM and the victim withdrew money and gave it to the suspect. The suspect left the area once she had the money.

Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 11/27, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
