In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 106 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201800004400 – 1000-1099 Poplar Av – 10/14 at 2pm to 10/15 at 6am: A diaper bag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Theft from Vehicle – 201800004401 – 1200-1299 McKinley St – 10/14 at 6pm to 10/15 at 7:30am: A Honda CX 4000 psi power washer was stolen from the open bed of a pick up truck.
Handgun Recovery – 201800004406 – 700-799 Newtowne Dr – 10/15 at 2:18pm: An observant caller reported a male subject carrying a handgun. Officers located the described subject in the 800 block of Brooke Ct, but no gun was located. Officers searched the area and located a loaded handgun hidden inside a grill outside a home. Officers continued to search the area and located 28 grams of marijuana and a box of ammunition hidden in separate locations near by.
Burglary – 201800004409 – 1200-1299 Bay Ridge Av – 10/15 from 7am to 6:45pm: The home was entered through an unlocked window. An Apple MacBook laptop computer and camera may have been stolen.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 10/16, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting - RESCHEDULED
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Tuesday, 10/23, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Officer Sullivan will give a short presentation on mass shootings. This is a preview of a longer seminar that Officer Sullivan can present to groups upon request. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis.
