In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 379 calls for service and arrested 11 people.
Attempted Burglary – 201800004378 – 100-199 Green St – 10/14 at 12:47am: The adult male resident awoke to someone banging on the rear door of the home. When the resident shined a flashlight at the adult male suspect he fled the area. Officers did not locate the suspect.
Burglary – 201800004384 – 200-299 Halsey Rd – 10/13 at 10:30pm to 10/14 at 10:45am: The front door to the home was forced open and jewelry was stolen.
Theft of Bicycle – 201800004390 – 300-399 Sixth St – 10/14 at 3pm: A black Giant XL mountain bicycle was stolen when it was left unsecured outside a business for a few minutes.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 10/16, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting - RESCHEDULED
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Tuesday, 10/23, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Officer Sullivan will give a short presentation on mass shootings. This is a preview of a longer seminar that Officer Sullivan can present to groups upon request. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis.
