In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 121 calls for service and arrested 3 people.
Possible Attempted Burglary – 201800004088 – 800-899 Severn Av – 09/22 at 10:45pm: At 12:35am on 09/23 residents reported an incident that occurred earlier to police. The officer viewed video footage of the incident. At 10:45pm on 09/22 a male subject approached the front door of the home. A motion activated porch light switched on and the subject turned and fled. It is believed that the subject may have been intending to break into the home.
Coffee with a Cop
Join us for National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday, 10/03. Officers will be at Starbucks at 122 Main St and Starbucks at 951 Bay Ridge Rd from 9am to 11am and Dunkin’ Donuts at 2004 West St from 12pm to 2pm. Drop in anytime during the two hours officers will be at the locations. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, 10/10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Officer Sullivan will give a short presentation on mass shootings. This is a preview of a longer seminar that Officer Sullivan can present to groups upon request. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis. Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 10/16, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.
