In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 79 calls for service and arrested 7 people.

Burglary – 201800004071 – 700-799 Genessee St – 09/22 at 12pm to 09/25 at 6:30pm: A window to the home was forced open and two laptop computers, a camera and a Sony PlayStation game console were stolen.

Coffee with a Cop
Join us for the next Coffee with a Cop, Wednesday, 09/26, from 12pm to 1pm at the Annapolis Library at Monarch Academy located at 2000 Capital Dr. Drop in anytime during the hour officers will be at the library. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions. We will also be celebrating National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday, 10/03. Officers will be at Starbucks at 122 Main St and Starbucks at 951 Bay Ridge Rd from 9am to 11am and Dunkin’ Donuts at 2004 West St from 12pm to 2pm.

Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, 10/10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 10/16, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
