August 1 - Coffee with a Cop - 122 Main St (Starbucks)
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 104 calls for service and arrested 7 people.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201800002931 – 100-199 Dewey Dr – 07/16 at 9pm to 07/19 at 2:15pm: An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen from inside.
Theft of Bicycle – 201800002932 – 00-99 Market Space – 07/19 from 6am to 2pm: A black, blue and yellow Giant Revel bicycle was stolen from the bike rack. The lock securing the bicycle was also stolen.
Robbery – 201800002938 – 1000-1099 Forest Dr – 07/20 at 2:30am: An adult male victim flagged down a passing motorist to call the police for help. He reported to officers that he had just been physically assaulted by several male suspects who then stole the victim’s vehicle and fled the area. Officers quickly located the stolen vehicle on Van Buren St near Brashears St and stopped it. Four adult male suspects were located inside the vehicle and they were identified as the suspects in the robbery. They were arrested and are currently awaiting charging and their initial hearing before the District Court Commissioner. The victim suffered bruising, swelling and lacerations to his face from the assault. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Coffee with a Cop
Join us for the next Coffee with a Cop, Wednesday, August 1 from 9am to 11am at Starbucks located at 122 Main Street. Drop in anytime during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions.
No Citizen Fingerprinting in August
There will be no citizen fingerprinting offered in August or Monday, 09/03. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, 09/10, at 6:30pm.
