August 1 - Coffee with a Cop - 122 Main St (Starbucks)

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 153 calls for service and arrested 7 people.

Stolen & Recovered Vehicle – 201800002813 – 500-599 State St – 07/12 from 1am to 12:35pm: A 2018 Nissan was stolen after the key to the vehicle was lost. The vehicle was recovered by Anne Arundel County Police Department, prior to it being reported stolen, after it was involved in a single vehicle accident in Arnold on 07/12 at 2:48am. The driver fled the vehicle before officers arrived.

Join us for the next Coffee with a Cop, Wednesday, August 1 from 9am to 11am at Starbucks located at 122 Main Street. Drop in anytime during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips.

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
