In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 102 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201800002635 – 1200-1299 Forest Dr – 06/30 to07/02: Money was stolen from a vehicle.
Tobacco Sales Compliance Checks
On 06/27 Detectives from the Annapolis Police Department conducted inspections of businesses that sell tobacco products. 36 businesses were checked and 1 establishment was found to be in violation by selling cigarettes to minors under the age of 18.
Fourth of July
City offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. A parade will begin at 6:30pm on Amos Garrett Blvd and proceed down West St to Church Circle and then down Main St to the City Dock. There is no parking allowed along the parade route. Fireworks over the Annapolis harbor will begin at 9:15pm. Main St and the Spa Creek/Eastport Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 6pm and remain closed until after the fireworks conclude and the crowds have subsided, after 10pm.
