Theft of Bicycle – 201800002051 – 100-199 Dock St – 05/28 at 5:15pm: A bright green Trek 3500 mountain bicycle with black stripes and white block letters was stolen when it was left unlocked and unattended outside a business.
Active Assailant Panel Discussion
Leadership Anne Arundel and Anne Arundel Community College are presenting an Active Assailant Panel Discussion on May 30, from 7pm to 9pm at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD – Thomas E. Florestano Building, Room 101. Use the west campus entrance and park in lot E. This is a free event to gain information, understand situations, and ask questions. Street Closures – Wayfarer’s Foot Race
A number of streets in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County will be closed during the morning of Saturday, 06/02, for the Wayfarer’s half marathon, formerly known as ZOOMA. The events begin at 7am and all streets in downtown Annapolis will be open by 8:05am. A rolling closing and opening of streets in the city will begin at 7am with police directing traffic as first and last runners enter and exit the streets. Kids n Kaboodle
On Saturday, June 2, the police department will be participating in this free community event organized by the Chesapeake Children’s Museum. Make Safe Happen Day
On Saturday, June 9, the police department will be participating in this free community event organized by Calvary United Methodist Church. The event features numerous organizations focused on safety, including the fire department and the American Red Cross.
