In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 98 calls for service and arrested 3 people.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 201800001323 - 1000 block of Cedar Ridge Ct - 04/09 from 8:30am to 8:45am: A Honda Odyssey minivan was stolen when it was left unlocked. The vehicle was recovered a short time later, at 10:15am, in the 800 block of Janice Dr parked and unoccupied.
Handgun Arrests - 201800001114 - Unit block of Bens Dr - 04/09 at 4pm: Detectives were in the area conducting follow ups to recent investigations when they came into contact with Keijuan Colbert, 16, of Annapolis. Colbert was found to be carrying a loaded handgun in his waistband. Colbert was arrested and charged as an adult with illegal possession of the handgun and possession of a handgun by a minor. At the same time Colbert was being arrested detectives in the same area stopped William Herold, 16, of Annapolis. Herold had a loaded handgun concealed at his ankle. Herold was arrested and also charged as an adult with illegal possession of the handgun and possession of a handgun by a minor. Both Colbert and Herold are being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, TUESDAY, April 10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This is a change of date from our usual Wednesday meetings. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis. Not My Child: Heroin Addiction Presentation

Coffee with a Cop
Join us for the next Coffee with a Cop, Tuesday, April 17 from 4pm to 6pm at Starbucks located at 122 Main Street. Drop in anytime during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions.
James Brice House Community Day
On Saturday, April 21, the police department will be participating in this free community event organized by Historic Annapolis. The event features Bob and the Builder and is 10am to 3pm at the James Brice House located at 42 East Street. For more information visit www.annapolis.org.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, April 24, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome.
