In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 389 calls for service and arrested 14 people.
Theft from Vehicle - 201800001285 - 500 block of Taylor Av - 04/05 at 9:30am to 04/06 at 2:40pm: All four wheels and tires were stolen from a parked vehicle.
Shots Fired - 201800001291 - 900 block of Royal St - 04/07 at 2:05am: Observant callers reported seeing a male suspect fire a gun into the air and then flee the area.
Theft of Bicycle - 201800001299 - 1800 block of West St - 04/07 from 3:15pm to 3:45pm: A silver and green Schwinn mountain bicycle was stolen.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, TUESDAY, April 10, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This is a change of date from our usual Wednesday meetings. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. As always we will be going over the current crime trends in Annapolis. Not My Child: Heroin Addiction Presentation
Annapolis elementary school parents Annapolis Elementary School at 180 Green St is hosting a Not My Child: Heroin Addiction Presentation on 04/11 at 7pm. The event is tailored toward elementary school parents. Coffee with a Cop
Join us for the next Coffee with a Cop, Tuesday, April 17 from 4pm to 6pm at Starbucks located at 122 Main Street. Drop in anytime during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. The officers are there to say hi and answer questions.
James Brice House Community Day
On Saturday, April 21, the police department will be participating in this free community event organized by Historic Annapolis. The event features Bob and the Builder and is 10am to 3pm at the James Brice House located at 42 East Street. For more information visit www.annapolis.org.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, April 24, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Join us to start planning a community dinner and peace march. Community service hours are available for HACA residents.
