(Annapolis, MD) At 9:21 am this morning, Annapolis and Anne Arundel Fire Department units responded to the unit block of Milkshake Lane for reports of an "Odor of Gas". On location fire crews determined the cause and origin of the odor to be a leak in the Gas line that was struck by a contractor, while working on the construction site. In the interest of Public Safety, the area was closed off. BGE arrived on location and secured the gas line at 10:37 am. There were no reported injuries to civilians or Fire Personnel. The scene has been cleared, and deemed non-hazardous.
