March 7 – Citizen Police Academy Starts – 199 Taylor Av
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 123 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Burglary – 201800000556 – 1100 block of Madison St – 02/14 at 8:45am: The adult female resident was home when her home alarm alerted her that a window to the apartment was opened. The resident assumed the alarm was triggered by a family member. When a second alarm alerted her that a door to the apartment was opened she went to investigate and saw a person running out the back door. A purse was stolen from the home.
City Offices Closed & No Citizen Fingerprinting
City offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2018 for President’s Day. There will also be no citizen fingerprinting offered on Monday, February 19, 2018. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, February 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
Citizen Police Academy
The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to educate residents about their local police department. The Academy will start Wednesday, March 7 and meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on March 7, 14, 21, April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2 at Annapolis Police Department, 199 Taylor Avenue.
