In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 124 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
Theft of Package – 201800000549 – 500 block of Chesapeake Av – 02/13 from 1:30pm to 2pm: A package was stolen after it was delivered to the front porch of the home.
Theft of Bicycle – 201800000550 – Monroe St at Norman Dr – 02/13 from 8:30am to 4pm: A green Raleigh bicycle with silver metal baskets on each side of the rear tire was stolen after it was left locked to a fence.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, February 14, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. The topic for this meeting is an overview of the new DARE Program officers have been teaching at Eastport Elementary School. This program will be expanding into several other Annapolis schools this Spring. If you cannot attend you can view the meeting on our Facebook Page, live or at your convenience. City Offices Closed & No Citizen Fingerprinting
City offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2018 for President’s Day. There will also be no citizen fingerprinting offered on Monday, February 19, 2018. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, February 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
Citizen Police Academy
The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to educate residents about their local police department. The Academy will start Wednesday, March 7 and meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on March 7, 14, 21, April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2 at Annapolis Police Department, 199 Taylor Avenue.
