In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 313 calls for service and arrested 12 people.
There are no preventable Part One offenses to report this morning. Part One offenses are those incidents we report to the MD State Police and the F.B.I. These incidents include homicides, robberies, burglaries, rapes, serious assaults, and thefts.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, February 13, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided and community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety meeting will be held, Wednesday, February 14, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting. The topic for this meeting is an overview of the new DARE Program officers have been teaching at Eastport Elementary School. This program will be expanding into several other Annapolis schools this Spring. If you cannot attend you can view the meeting on our Facebook Page, live or at your convenience. Citizen Police Academy
The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to educate residents about their local police department. The Academy will start Wednesday, March 7 and meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on March 7, 14, 21, April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2 at Annapolis Police Department, 199 Taylor Avenue.
