January 30 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St
In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 285 calls for service and arrested 11 people.
Attempted Theft of Bicycle - 201800000352 – Unit block of Gentry Ct – 01/27 at 1:40pm: An observant caller reported two juvenile male suspects entered the rear yard of a home and one grabbed a bicycle while the other acted as a lookout. The resident saw the suspects and yelled at them. The suspect with the bicycle dropped it and both juveniles fled the area. More than half an hour after the attempted theft on Gentry Ct a second caller reported two similar juvenile male suspects possibly trying to steal a bicycle from a yard on Cedar Park Rd. Officers located the two suspects, a 15 year old male and a 14 year old male, both from Annapolis, on Cedar Park Rd at Windell Av. They were identified as the suspects in the theft on Gentry Ct and each was charged with theft on a juvenile citation.
Burglary – 201800000365 – 1000 block of Paddington Pl – 01/28 at 6:30pm: The adult female resident was home when an unknown male suspect entered the home through an apparently unlocked door. Once the man saw the resident he turned and fled the home. Nothing was stolen.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 30th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided and community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Hiring Police Cadets and School Crossing Guard Supervisor
