January 30 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 79 calls for service and arrested 7 people.

Theft of Package – 201800000198 – 100 block of Obery Ct – 01/12 from 4pm to 9pm: A package delivered to the front door of the home was stolen. The victim found the stolen package on 01/16 on Pleasant St. The package had been opened and the contents damaged.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 201800000207 – Unit block of Franklin St – 01/17 at 8:30pm: The black Acura that was reported stolen from the unit block of Colonial St was recovered parked and unoccupied. There was no damage to the vehicle and no items were reported stolen from it.

Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 30^th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided and community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips.

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
