January 30 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 127 calls for service and arrested 6 people.
There are no preventable Part One offenses to report this morning. Part One offenses are those incidents we report to the MD State Police and the F.B.I. These incidents include homicides, robberies, burglaries, rapes, serious assaults, and thefts.
Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade
The 4th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade kicks off at noon on Monday, January 15. The parade will travel down West St from Amos Garret St to Church Circle and then down Main St to the City Dock. Roads will be closed as the parade moves through. For more information visit www.annapolis.gov.
City Offices Closed and No Citizen Fingerprinting
City offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. No citizen fingerprinting will be offered on Monday, January 15. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, January 22 at 6:30pm.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 30th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided and community service hours are available for HACA residents.
Hiring Police Cadets and School Crossing Guard Supervisor
