January 9 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 286 calls for service and arrested 12 people.

Theft of Package – 201800000069 – Unit block of Fleet St – 01/05 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm: A package delivered to outside the front door of the home was stolen.

Theft from Vehicle – 201800000076 – Unit block of Northwest St – 01/07 from 10am to 1pm: The convertible top of the vehicle was cut and an Asus Chromebook laptop was stolen.

Burglary – 201800000080 – 200 block of Janwall St – 01/07 from 4pm to 4:30pm: The home was entered through an unlocked window and four passports were stolen.

Eastport Working Together – NEW DATE!!
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 9^th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. We will be giving updates on the action items established during the December meeting. Everyone is welcome. The Eastport Civic Association will be providing food and community service hours are available for HACA residents.

Hiring Police Cadets and School Crossing Guard Supervisor

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips.

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
