In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 110 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
Burglary – 201700005491 – 900 block of President St – 12/28 from 5am to 7am: The apartment was entered and two purses were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.
Burglary – 201700005493 – 800 block of Betsy Ct – 12/28 at 3pm: The resident entered the home to find four juvenile male suspects fleeing the interior. Money was stolen. The home may have been entered through an unlocked window.
Annapolis News Year’s Eve Celebrations
The City of Annapolis is hosting fireworks at 5:30pm at Weems-Whelan Memorial Field and at midnight at the Annapolis City Dock. Visit www.annapolis.gov for more information on the events and parking suggestions.

Navy Basketball is hosting a Police VS Fire post game scrimmage after their game against American on 01/05 at 7pm. Come watch players from the Annapolis Police Department and the Annapolis Fire Department battle each other on the courts! Eastport Working Together – NEW DATE!!
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 9th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. We will be giving updates on the action items established during the December meeting. Everyone is welcome. The Eastport Civic Association will be providing food and community service hours are available for HACA residents.
