In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 109 calls for service and arrested 6 people.
Stolen Vehicle – 201700005371 – 800 block of Brooke Ct – 12/19 from 12:30am to 7:45am: A grey 1998 Nissan Altima, MD reg. 4DC8691, was stolen.
Burglary & Package Theft – 201700005374 & 5375 – Unit block of Silverwood Circle – 12/01 to 12/19: A storage room in the residential building was found unlocked with three apparently stolen packages inside. One of the packages was stolen from outside the front door of a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Rd after it was delivered. The contents of the package were stolen. The other found packages were addressed to homes in the unit block of Silverwood Circle and Georgetown Ct, but officers could not make contact with the owners at this time.
Make a Plan to get Home Safely
‘Tis the season to be merry, but if you are making merry by drinking and driving, make a new plan. Make a plan for getting home safely before heading to your holiday party. If you see a suspected drunk driver, report it to the police by calling 410-268-4141 or 9-1-1.
Cocoa with a Cop
Come and join me at Midnight Madness on December 21st. Myself and other Officers from the Annapolis Police Department will be outside on Francis Street at Main Street to hand out free cups of hot chocolate to the community. Stop by between 6pm and 9pm, you can sip a yummy cup of hot chocolate and meet some of Annapolis’ Finest. Take a few minutes and get to know your local law enforcement team, even better let your kids know how approachable the police are, should they ever need help. Come sip Cocoa with a Cop!
Eastport Working Together – NEW DATE!!
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, January 16th, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. We will be giving updates on the action items established during the December meeting. Everyone is welcome. Food will be provided and community service hours are available for HACA residents.
