No Shave November
Annapolis officers are retiring their razors and putting on polish during the month of November to support those touched by cancer. Chief Scott Baker has authorized officers and employees to let their hair grow or paint their fingernails blue in a way not normally permitted by our regulations. Participants donated at least $30 to the Rev. Callie Johnson Matthews Scholarship Fund, an Annapolis based charity. Employees not growing beards and the public are also encouraged to donate money to this important cause. Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so directly to the Rev. Callie Johnson Matthews Scholarship Fund through this link http://www.revcalliecares.org/.

The Annapolis Police Department is accepting new, unwrapped toys to be given to local children this Christmas. Drop off toys to us at 199 Taylor Av. Toys will be collected until December 15th. The toys will be given to We Care and Friends at the Stanton Center.
