National Drug Take Back Event
On Saturday, 10/28, from 10am to 2pm the Annapolis Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 14th opportunity in seven years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the Annapolis Police Department at 199 Taylor Avenue. (The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
For more information about the disposal of prescription drugs or about the October 28th Take Back Day event, go to the DEA Diversion website. The Annapolis Police Department also has a permanently installed medication disposal box in our lobby. This disposal box is open normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm excluding holidays.
