In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 105 calls for service and arrested 11 people.
Theft of Bicycle – 201700003852 – 1400 block of Poplar Av – 08/01 from 9am to 2pm: A boy’s black and grey Trek mountain bicycle with a light on the handlebars was stolen from the front of a home. The victim saw the bicycle being ridden downtown on 08/26 and decided to report the theft.
Theft of Packages – 201700003863 – Unit block of Rockwell Ct – 09/12 at 5pm: An observant citizen saw a juvenile stealing delivered packages from the front porch of a home. The police were contacted and were able to identify the suspect as a 14 year old male from Annapolis. Officers located the suspect, arrested him, and charged him with theft. The property was recovered and returned to the victim. The juvenile was charged on a juvenile citation and released to his guardian.
Howlin’ Hustle 5K
Join us at the 2017 Howlin’ Hustle, a 5K Walk/Run, presented by the Annapolis Police Department in support of Special Olympics Maryland. It is a 5K course around beautiful Annapolis on October 28th and is guaranteed to be a spooktackular good time. Registration will open at 6:30am and the 5K will begin at 7:30am.
