In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 72 calls for service and arrested 2 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201700003837 – Unit block of Morris St – 09/10 at 9pm to 09/11 at 6:45am: A driver’s license was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Armed Robbery – 201700003841 – 1000 block of Madison St – 09/11 at 9am: The adult male victim was in the stairwell of an apartment building when he was approached by a male suspect who asked for money. When the victim refused, the suspect pulled out a handgun and took the victim’s wallet. The suspect left the area on foot.
Burglary – 201700003842 – Unit block of Old Solomons Island Rd – 09/08 at 5pm to 09/11 at 8am: The door to the business was forced open, nothing was stolen from the business.
Helping Hands Houston
On Saturday, 09/09, officers were downtown and on Cedar Park Road asking for donations to assist law enforcement officers in the Houston area who have suffered from the severe flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Over $1,700 was donated by generous passers by. The donations will be sent to Assist the Officer, a non-profit that assists Houston area law enforcement.

Howlin’ Hustle 5K
Join us at the 2017 Howlin’ Hustle, a 5K Walk/Run, presented by the Annapolis Police Department in support of Special Olympics Maryland. It is a 5K course around beautiful Annapolis on October 28th and is guaranteed to be a spooktackular good time. Registration will open at 6:30am and the 5K will begin at 7:30am.
