In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 110 calls for service and arrested 8 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201700003403 – 200 block of West St – 08/13 from 2pm to 8pm: A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a garage that was left with the door open.
Recovered Stolen Bicycle – 2017000003412 – 1400 block of Poplar Av – 08/14 at 3:20pm: The victim came home and discovered his unsecured bicycle stolen from the driveway. The victim saw a suspect riding his bicycle on Bowman Ct and called the police. Officers located the suspect on the bicycle and stopped him. The suspect, a 16 year old male from Annapolis, was arrested, charged with theft, and released to his guardian. The bicycle was returned to the owner.
Burglary – 201700003419 – 100 block of Spa View Av – 08/14 from 3pm to 5pm: While a resident was home, and asleep, the home was entered through an unlocked door and a wallet was stolen.
Theft of Bicycles – 201700003420 – 100 block of Barbud La – 08/14 from 3pm to 5:20pm: Two unsecured bicycles were stolen from the side of a home. A neon green and black boy’s bicycle and a red and black boy’s bicycle were stolen.
Theft of Bicycle – 201700003421 – Unit block of Edgewood Av – 08/14 from 1:15pm to 2:30pm: An unsecured black GT Streamline bicycle was stolen from a parking lot.
Burglary – 201700003425 – 200 block of Garden Gate La – Discovered on 08/14 at 10:30am: The home was entered through an unlocked window, but nothing was stolen.
