Indecent Exposure – 201700003360 – Unit block of West St – 08/11 at 5:50am: An adult female victim was sitting on a bench outside when a male suspect exposed his genitals to her.

Burglary - 201700003361 – 100 block of Legion Av - 04/01 to 08/01: A red gasoline powered push lawn mower was stolen from an unlocked shed.

Stolen Motorcycle – 201700003384 – 1000 block of Spa Rd – 08/12 from 12:01am to 12:40pm: A black 2002 Yamaha RS6 motorcycle, MD reg. 143Y62, was stolen. The motorcycle has a red sticker on the exhaust.

Burglary – 201700003392 – 1600 block of West St – 08/13 from 1am to 6am: Clothing was stolen from an unlocked trailer behind the business.

Homicide – 201700003399 – 1200 block of Graff Ct – 08/13 at 11:14pm: Officers responded for a report of a shooting and discovered Juan Carlos Machado Rivas, 28, of Annapolis who died from his injuries. Mr. Rivas was standing outside when he was approached by several subjects. Mr. Rivas was shot and killed. Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Please be assured that only your tip is communicated from Metro Crime Stoppers to the police department, not any identifying information about you. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
