Theft from Vehicle – 201700002669 – 100 block of South Villa Av – 06/29 from 12:15pm to 12:30pm: A black Coach purse was stolen from an unlocked bus.

Theft from Vehicle – 201700002674 – Unit block of Silopanna Rd – 06/29 from 12:25pm to 1:10pm: A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks
The Fourth of July parade will begin at 6:30pm at Amos Garrett Boulevard and proceed along West Street, around Church Circle, and down Main Street. Roads will be closed as the parade moves through the route. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:15pm. Main Street and the Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 5pm and will remain closed until the crowds clear after the fireworks conclude. Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Please be assured that only your tip is communicated from Metro Crime Stoppers to the police department, not any identifying information about you. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
