Theft of Boat - 201700002655 – 300 block of First St – 06/27 at 11am to 06/28 at 3:45pm: An 8’ McLaughlin sailboat, white with red accents and a sticker on the rear, was stolen from a trailer. The boat registration number is MGH21353C515. The boat had no mast and sails.

Theft from Vehicles – 201700002657 – 200 block of Parker Av – 06/28 at 8:30pm to 06/29 at 1pm: Two unlocked vehicles were entered and a white canvas Coach purse, credit cards, and money were stolen.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Please be assured that only your tip is communicated from Metro Crime Stoppers to the police department, not any identifying information about you. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. If you have crime or suspect information, please call, email, or use the P3 Tips smartphone app to submit your "tip". Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
