In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 465 calls for service and arrested 9 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201700002579 – Unit block of College Av – 06/24 from 8:30am to 1:30pm: The vehicle’s window was smashed and money, a fishing rod, and credit cards were stolen.
Stolen Vehicle – 201700002580 – Unit block of Dock St – 06/23 at 10pm to 06/24 at 9am: A black 2011 Kia Optima with an unknown MD tag was stolen.
Aggravated Assault – 201700002601 – 100 block of Main St – 06/25 at 10:40pm: Two adult male employees were arguing and began pushing each other. Then, one pulled out a box cutter and cut the other. The victim’s face and hand were cut and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were non-life threatening. The suspect fled the area but later came to the police department. Gregory Powell, 33, of Annapolis was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and concealing a dangerous weapon. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
