In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 381 calls for service and arrested 26 people.
Burglary – 201700002051 – 900 block of Spa Rd – 05/20 at 6pm to 05/21 at 12am: The home was entered through an unlocked window and money, jewelry, and electronics were stolen.
Theft from Vehicle – 201700002056 – 100 block of Main St – 05/20 at 10:30pm to 05/21 at 10:30am: The window to the vehicle was smashed and a large navy blue and tan purse was stolen from inside.
Theft from Vehicle – 201700002057 – 900 block of Wells Av – 05/20 at 5:30pm to 05/21 at 11am: A green bag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Dirt Bike Complaints
This weekend we received several calls about dirt bikes and ATVs operating illegally in Annapolis. One dirt bike was located after it was abandoned in the unit block of College Av. These vehicles are highly maneuverable and some operators do not stop for officers. Your calls help us track their location and maximize our ability to stop their reckless behavior. Please call 410-268-4141, or 9-1-1 in an emergency, to report dirt bikes and ATVs operating illegally. ATVs cannot operate on public streets. Registered and insured dirt bikes may be operated on public streets, but must follow the rules of the road.
Annapolis Traffic Delays Expected May 23, 24, and 26
Traffic congestion is expected in Annapolis on Tuesday, May 23, Wednesday, May 24, and Friday, May 26 due to the Blue Angels flight demonstration and the U.S. Naval Academy graduation ceremony.
