In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 151 calls for service and arrested 3 people.

Theft of Bicycle - 201700001970 - Unit block of Amberstone Ct - 05/16 at 5:15pm: The victim heard a noise outside his home and saw a juvenile female riding away on his son's blue and yellow Pacific mountain bicycle. The juvenile was last seen riding the bike towards Forest Dr. The bicycle was stolen from the front yard of the home.

Vehicle Theft - 201700001973 - 700 block of Glenwood St - 05/16 from 3pm to 9pm: A red 2012 Kawasaki Enduro dirt bike, MD reg. D82556, was stolen from the gated front yard of a home.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Please be assured that only your tip is communicated from Metro Crime Stoppers to the police department, not any identifying information about you. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. If you have crime or suspect information, please call, email, or use the P3 Tips smartphone app to submit your "tip". The Metro Crime Stoppers Hotline is available 24-hours a day Toll FREE 1-866-7LOCKUP. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
