In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 101 calls for service and arrested 8 people.
Stolen & Recovered Vehicle – 201700001774 – Unit block of Bens Dr – 05/03 at 9pm to 05/04 at 5am: At 9am the victim contacted the police and reported that he discovered his vehicle had been stolen at 5am that morning. Officers found the vehicle at 11:45am in the 900 block of Royal St being driven by the owner. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle or damage to the ignition and the owner had the vehicle keys.
Burglary – 201700001777 – Unit block of Clay St – 04/28 at 1pm to 05/04 at 1pm: Money, Apple MacBook Air and Pro laptop computers, a Nikon DSLR camera, several wristwatches, and clothes were stolen from a home. There were no signs of forced entry.
Robbery – 201700001792 – Unit block of Heritage Ct – 05/05 at 3:40am: The adult male victim reported that he was standing outside when he was approached by four adult male suspects. The men began punching the victim and took money from his pocket during the assault. The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Cinco de Mayo
The Annapolis Police Department will have extra officers working impaired driving enforcement on Cinco de Mayo to catch drivers who make the wrong decision and get behind the wheel after drinking too much. Please plan a safe way to get home after your night out.
Citizen Fingerprinting Cancelled
