In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 104 calls for service and arrested 4 people.

Good News – Officers investigating the theft of a package from the unit block of Southgate Av on 03/06 were able to identify the suspect. The officers were aided by home surveillance camera footage which captured the theft. Officers charged a 14 year old male from Annapolis with the theft. He was charged and released to a guardian.

There are no preventable Part One offenses to report this morning. Part One offenses are those incidents we report to the MD State Police and the F.B.I. These incidents include homicides, robberies, burglaries, rapes, serious assaults, and thefts.

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
