In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 100 calls for service and arrested 2 people.

Indecent Exposure / Robbery – 201700000937 – 100 block of Woods Dr – 03/06 at 7:20am: An adult female victim was walking in the area when she saw a man exposing himself while sitting in a vehicle. The victim took photos of the suspect’s vehicle, but he got out of the vehicle, took the phone from her, and then drove away. Officers are making frequent checks looking for the suspect and the vehicle.

Burglary – 201700000938 – 1100 block of Madison St – 03/05 at 10:30am to 03/06 at 8:15am: Money was stolen from an apartment. There were no signs of forced entry.

Burglary – 201700000940 – 100 block of Main St – 03/01 at 5:30pm to 03/06 at 9:15am: A window to the office was forced open and an Apple TV, an AT&T wi-fi hotspot, and a Jacket H2O Bluetooth speaker were stolen.

When you text, phone in, or submit your Annapolis crime tip online Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Please be assured that only your tip is communicated from Metro Crime Stoppers to the police department, not any identifying information about you. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
