In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 312 calls for service and arrested 13 people. 
 
Burglary – 201700000913 – Unit block of Bens Dr – 03/02 from 6:30pm to 7pm:  The unlocked apartment was entered and a red Razor scooter was stolen.
 
Shooting – 201700000926 – Edgewood Rd at Bembe Beach Rd – 03/04 at 6:30pm:  Officers responded for a report of a shooting.  The victim flagged down a passing motorist who called the police.  Officers responded and found the victim, a 24 year old man from Annapolis, suffering from at least one gun shot wound.  The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  We urge anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Andrew Ascione at 410-260-3439 or agascione@annapolis.gov.  You can also contact Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
